Authorize.net - Can not process refunds prior to the batching of the original transaction

Authorize.net is a payment gateway that batches a group of transactions for payment processing. An admin can not issue a refund in Korrio for a transaction that has not yet processed.

Example:

John Smith registers Charles Smith for a $100 Recreational Registration program at 11:30am August 28, 2012. Authorize.net batches this payment with other payments at 11:59pm August 28, 2012.

What happens when an admin tries to issue a refund prior to the batch (11:59pm August 28, 2012)?

Korrio will not allow you to make a refund prior to the batch. If you click on Issue Refund, the system will pop up an error message asking you to try again in 24 hours.
